Yo Youth Impact.....What's up and how is first week of school? Trust you are enjoying it and living up to your name, Youth Impact, by impacting your friends and peers.
Just had a thought this morning. In your opinion, how important is Youth Impact meeting? Just another meeting? Why do you faithfully come to youth meeting every Saturday?
Do you know that Youth meeting is as important as any other church service. In fact it is church service in action among the young people. You are important because the church sees the young people as the future backbone of the church and one day you will take over the baton from the seniors and becomes leaders of the church.
Speaking of the importance of Christian gathering, Paul writes: "There should be no division...its parts should have equal concern for each other...each one of you is a part of it" (1 Cor 12:25-27). Every Youth Impact members are part of Christ's body, the church. You are important.
Watchman Nee says, "Alone I cannot serve the Lord effectively, and He will spare no pains to teach me this. He will bring things to an end, allowing doors to close and leaving me effectively knocking my head against a wall until I realise that I need the help of the body, as well as of the Lord."
There are truths taught in God's house that you won't hear anywhere else. In church, you'll find a Spiritual family to belong to, a faith to live by, and a focus that gets your eyes where they should be - on Christ!
